SMS Messaging Policy

This policy describes the SMS messaging program operated by AVP Construction JAX Inc., a Florida-licensed finish-carpentry contractor. It is meant to be read with our Privacy Policy at avpjax.com/privacy and our Terms of Service at avpjax.com/terms.

Program operator

AVP Construction JAX Inc. (Jacksonville, FL) operates the SMS program. We use Twilio Inc. as our SMS delivery vendor; all outbound messages originate from our registered business number.

What messages we send

The program is transactional and customer-service in nature, tied to a specific project you have requested or an active business relationship. Message types include:

Replies and scheduling messages from our team in response to your inquiry
Site-visit and install-day reminders
Estimate, contract, and invoice links
Crew-on-the-way notifications
Progress updates and project photos
Payment and deposit reminders
Post-completion satisfaction surveys and Google review requests
Occasional referral thank-yous and annual project check-ins

We do not send promotional or marketing blasts. We do not sell our SMS list to anyone.

How you opt in

You opt in to the program by one of two verifiable methods:

Submitting the contact form at avpjax.com/#contact and checking the SMS-consent checkbox immediately above the submit button. The checkbox is required and is default-unchecked.
Texting the keyword AVP to our business number. The auto-reply re-confirms enrollment and includes message frequency, rates disclosure, and STOP / HELP instructions.

For each opt-in we record the verbatim consent text, the date and time, the IP address, and the browser user-agent (web form) or originating phone (keyword) so we can demonstrate consent if a carrier or you ever ask. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Frequency

Frequency varies based on where your project is in its lifecycle. A typical client receives between 2 and 20 messages over the full course of a project; many weeks you will receive none.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. AVP Construction JAX does not charge you for SMS.

HELP

Reply HELP (or INFO) to any message from us to receive a short reply with our support contact details. You can also email hello@avpjax.com at any time.

STOP — opt-out

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, END) to any message from us to stop further SMS. Your opt-out is recorded immediately and you will not receive further SMS from us. To re-opt-in, reply START to a previous thread or contact us through any other channel.

Your mobile information is not shared

AVP Construction JAX will not share, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in status, or your SMS consent information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used solely to deliver the SMS program described above. Your number is shared with Twilio (our SMS delivery vendor) only as required to deliver each message; Twilio is contractually prohibited from using it for marketing or selling it.

The categories of personal information described in our Privacy Policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent — that specific information will not be shared with any third parties.

Supported carriers and disclaimer

Carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional and MVNO carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
